1. Overview

Happyhrs.app ("Happyhrs," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, including data accessed through Google APIs.

Happyhrs is a supervision scheduling platform designed to help supervisors, interns, and organizations coordinate and manage supervision sessions. We collect and use only the minimum data necessary to operate the application.

• Email address
• Basic account identifiers

b. Google Account Information (Optional)

If you choose to use Google Sign-In or connect Google Calendar, we may access:

• Your name and email address for authentication
• Calendar functionality limited to creating, updating, or deleting supervision session events created by Happyhrs

We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.

c. Automatically Collected Information

• Basic technical and usage information needed for security, reliability, and operation of the app
• Device and browser information

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to:

• Authenticate users via Google Sign-In
• Create and manage supervision sessions
• Allow users to add sessions to their Google Calendar
• Allow supervisors to sync scheduled sessions
• Send scheduling related email notifications, including Add to Calendar links

We do not:

• Sell your data
• Use your data for advertising
• Build user profiles for unrelated purposes
• Use Google data for any purpose unrelated to core app functionality

4. Google API Services User Data

Happyhrs’ use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• Google user data is used only to provide or improve user facing features
• Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to comply with law, with your consent, or to protect the security and integrity of the service
• Google user data is not used for advertising, data mining unrelated to core functionality, or profiling
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data except with your consent, when required for security or debugging, or when required by law

Happyhrs’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored on secure servers controlled by Happyhrs
• We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information
• Access to data is restricted to what is necessary for system operation

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may disclose information only if required by law, to:

• Enforce our terms
• Protect system integrity
• Prevent fraud or misuse

• Google integration is optional
• You may disconnect your Google account at any time
• You may stop using Happyhrs at any time
• You may request deletion of your data by contacting

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide services, maintain system functionality, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Upon account deletion, data is removed within a reasonable timeframe unless legally required otherwise.

9. Third Party Services

Happyhrs integrates with Google services.

Your use of Google Sign-In and Google Calendar is also governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy and Terms.

We are not responsible for how Google handles your data outside of our application.

10. Children’s Privacy

Happyhrs is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The requirements of being a mental health intern already mitigate this risk.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the Effective Date.

Continued use of Happyhrs after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
