Yes — interns pay a one-time $24 lifetime fee for their own account. Your supervisor plan is separate. But if your organization has an Org plan, all supervisors get unlimited access included.
All the hours you already confirmed and signed stay confirmed — signatures and all. The intern can link to their new supervisor, and your verified records remain intact in both accounts. Clean break, no drama.
